Quincy Career Center Youth Services
The Quincy Evening High School offers an alternative path to achievement for students that are having difficulty meeting graduation requirements during the traditional school day.
ACHIEVE PROGRAM The Achieve Program helps youth to obtain their GED’s while learning new skills through work experiences and training. Computer based lessons and career exploration are done in a youth friendly environment.
WORKFORCE SCHOLARS The Workforce Scholars is an occupational training program administered by Quincy College. Youth who have their High School Diplomas or GEDs are trained for jobs in Health Care, Childcare, Microsoft Office, and Welding. Certification is awarded upon successful completion.
JOB READINESS AND CAREER LAUNCH This program at the Plymouth Boys and Girls Club prepares youth to sit for the GED exams. They also offer job readiness courses such as resume writing and interviewing techniques. JOB DEVELOPMENT AND PLACEMENT IS OFFERED BY ALL FOUR PROGRAMS. |
